Cage-Free and Traditional Dog Boarding

We offer two types of accommodations: Cage-Free and Traditional kennels with outdoor runs.

Cage Free Dog Boarding

We have two cage-free areas which are bright, spacious and very dog friendly.The large dog area will never have more than five dogs at one time and the area for our smaller guests will accomodate up to seven pint sized friends. When coming in for the first time, your dog will be evaluated and a determination will be made as to whether a communal situation is right for it's personality and temperment. Dogs are then mixed according to their activity level: passive or active, and size. There are dog doors in each boarding area providing free access to large outdoor play areas during daylight hours.

We have stimulating exercise areas yet at the same time provide a multitude of beds and mats where any dog can go to get away from the group and be alone to nap or just relax by itself, whether it’s under a tree outdoors or in the temperature controlled indoors.

Traditional Dog Kennel Boarding

If you are not comfortable with concept of “cage free” and prefer for your dog to have private quarters we offer a limited number of traditional dog kennels.

These kennels are 5x6 indoors, with a 5x12 attached outdoor run.The runs are covered and have an artificial grass turf for footing which is comfortable to lay on, does not irritate the pads of their feet and minimizes the dragging in of dirt to their sleeping quarters. Each dog has free access to their run during daylight hours.Also, there is a large, attatched play area for the kenneled dogs which they can have access to either by themselves or with others to play throughout the day.

If you would like for your dog to be with the cage-free group to play and be social during the day, but then have private quarters for the evening, we can certainly arrange that.

Buddy System Dog Kennels

For the kenneled dogs, we also offer what we call the “Buddy System”. If a dog comes in of comparable size and compatable temperament, we will give you the option to share your kennel for a discounted rate. This is the perfect solution for a dog wanting company, but not that of a larger group. To have this option made available, your dog will be evaluated for acceptable social behavior upon it's arrival.

Special Dog Kennel Features

Nowhere in our kennel is any dog kept on concrete or gravel. All indoor dog areas are covered in a cushiony, hygenic rubber flooring.The outdoor play areas are grass/dirt . All play areas have shade trees, toys and permanent fixtures for climbing. For the aquatically inclined there is a spring-fed pond for swimming.

Unlike most other boarding facilities, our dogs are not locked in for the night as early as 6:00. Our dogs are being let out and running under the moonlight as late as 10:00 p.m.
At dark, all dog doors are locked for the safety of all pets.
